We will be back!

Our first time staying here and I hope it will not be the last. A lovely cosy atmosphere in a rural setting. We found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and professional. Our meal was of an equally high standard, as was the wine selection. The bedroom was also vert well appointed and comfortable. All in all, a great experience.

For us, no better eating place in Bangor

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Not cheap but well worth it. We've been coming here for a dozen years or so and will do so for the foreseeable future. My wife loves the fillet steak and says it's consistently of the highest standard. I work my way through the menu and every dish is great. The new space is spacious and comfortable; it'll be our choice from now on.

Well worth staying over

A very warm welcome upon arrival. Cases taken to room without any issues. Rooms are top class with good heating. Package included Dinner for one evening and the food /ambience/service was Top Class. The venue itself is a hidden gem - a popular gem but well off the beaten track.

Wonderful surroundings in the new garden room, lovely meal, beautiful wine and excellent service. Even on a Monday evening it was busy with a lovely atmosphere. Can’t wait to return.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted and shown to our table in the stunning garden room restaurant. The staff were very attentive and friendly, service was 10/10.
