Public areas
Our hotel is fully accessible*, including the reception area, brasserie, and entry to our accessible bedrooms.
The ground floor of our events building is fully accessible, and we provide a lift to facilitate easy access to the first floor, where all function suites, except the Diplomat Lounge, are accessible. A ramp is available for the Diplomat Lounge to ensure wheelchair access.
We ensure that all pathways are wide and free of obstacles to facilitate ease of movement.
*Please note that due to maintenance work being carried out between Sunday 12th and Friday 31st January 2025, the hotel lift will be out of use during that time. Customers with access needs are advised to book a Ground Floor room by calling the hotel reception on 02891852500.
Accessible rooms
We have two rooms on the ground floor specifically designed to accommodate guests with mobility impairments. These rooms feature accessible bathrooms with walk-in showers and grab bars to ensure safety and convenience.
Accessible toilets
Accessible toilets are located in public areas of the hotel and the events building.
Reception desk
Our reception desk is designed with a low-profile to comfortably accommodate guests using wheelchairs. The hotel reception desk is staffed 24 hours.
Parking
There are designated disabled car parking spaces located near both the hotel and events building entrances. These spaces are strategically placed to ensure that guests with disabilities can access the hotel easily and conveniently.
Hearing and visual impairments
We offer a DeafGuard unit, a vibrating alarm designed to alert guests with hearing impairments in case of emergencies, ensuring their safety and peace of mind during their stay.
Service animals
We welcome guide dogs to accompany guests with disabilities throughout the hotel.
Getting to Clandeboye Lodge
As the hotel is close to a main road, we recommend you drive to our hotel.
By car: Ample free parking spaces are available for all guests, with specific spots reserved for disabled parking near the entrance of the hotel.
