"Staying in the Ultra-luxe Suite the night before and on our wedding night was an incredible experience! The room was beyond beautiful and had plenty of space for all the pre-wedding preparations, including the bridal party, hair and makeup artists, dress fitter, photographer, videographer, and florist. We never felt crowded or on top of each other! The wedding team was truly amazing. They made us feel completely at ease and it honestly felt more like dealing with friends than a wedding team! It was the most perfect day for us and our guests, who are still talking about it as the best wedding they’ve ever attended!”

The exceptional quality of food and service at the Coq & Bull made it an easy choice for a fabulous family meal the night before our wedding. "From the moment we set foot in Clandeboye Lodge, we knew it was the one. In fact, it was the first and last venue we toured, and we booked it on the day! We attended the Clandeboye Lodge Wedding Fair around 2 months later. It was great to see the wedding suites beautifully set up and it also introduced us to a range of suppliers who filled us with inspiration and ideas! Chatting with each supplier helped us figure out what could fit our budget and who was free for our big day. We knew we wanted our wedding vibe to be fun, so we ended up booking giant lawn games which our guests absolutely loved! Without attending the Wedding Fair, we wouldn't have even thought about adding this to our wedding day!"

"As soon as we walked in, we were blown away! The ‘too close to home’ argument quickly went out the window and we realised how convenient it was – we didn’t have to factor in any travel time! I was already set on a colour scheme, and I could immediately picture it working perfectly in the Clandeboye suite as all the decor was neutral - no coloured or patterned carpets! Leading up to the wedding, we had a detailed meeting with the team to plan every aspect of the day. Their exceptional attention to detail instilled in me complete confidence that everything would be flawless on the big day - and that's saying a lot, considering I tend to be a bit of a control freak! All in all, our day was perfect!"

"Exploring a wedding venue is like viewing a house - you’re looking for that special warm fuzzy feeling - when you know, you know! No other venue hit us like Clandeboye Lodge - it just had it all. We went for the ‘All For You’ package and the planning process was a breeze. We had a clear timeline on when things needed to be done. Leading up to the day it was outstanding that even working with such a thriving venue, we felt like we were the only couple they were dealing with. Of course, we upgraded to the Ultra-luxe Suite for the night of our wedding. It was one of the most extravagant suites we have ever stayed in, with a brilliant backdrop for our wedding photos. The amazing copper bathtub, the waterfall shower and stunning space made our day feel so special!"

As we planned our wedding from across the water in Canada, we felt reassured and comforted by the Wedding Team. We instantly felt excited to have found such a hidden gem! Our wedding celebrations were off to a bang, with delicious appetizers, flowing drinks and décor that enhanced our own added touches and provided an experience for our guests. “Our wedding was exactly how we wanted it – despite the pandemic! The biggest change was the opportunity to have our evening reception on the new heated, covered outdoor terrace. It felt safer and more relaxed and enhanced the party atmosphere. We had our first dance, sparklers and acoustic entertainment outside, and the fairy lights inside the canopy with the fire pit helped to make it magical. We could not have been looked after any better and the Clandeboye Lodge team worked tirelessly in the background to keep everyone safe.”

Like the fact that our dog Tubbs was able to share our big day with us. Apparently planning a wedding can be a stressful process but the Clandeboye Lodge team accommodated our every need with smiles and encouragement. “It meant so much to us that we were able to stream our wedding ceremony virtually for friends and family who couldn’t make it due to travel restrictions. The Clandeboye Lodge was the perfect venue. We loved having so many different areas for the guests to mingle, inside and out. The covered outdoor terrace with the fire pit was fantastic! We had a saxophone player and experienced our first dance there too which was magical. The incredible Clandeboye Lodge wedding team helped me plan my dream wedding even during the pandemic. “We were the only wedding that day and every single member of staff made us their priority. Most of our guests commented on the standard of service. Nothing was too much trouble, we could tweak the package to suit our needs and the food was delicious, beautifully presented and very generous. Plus, we were so thankful that the lovely interiors gave us so many photo opportunities. The red brick period features and stunning timber arches on the old schoolhouse roof allowed for some beautiful photos and really leant itself to our winter wedding.”

"We wanted to get married within a few months, so we were thrilled that Clandeboye Lodge had a package that would accommodate our timeline. Clandeboye Lodge had that rustic, intimate setting that we were looking for, but we could still accommodate all our guests. We also liked the fact that we only had to add minimal decor to the venue. We opted for cherry blossoms in the Blackwood suite which complimented it beautifully. A highlight was the staff – they treated us like royalty, and nothing was too much for them. Of course, it rained on our day, but it didn’t dampen our spirits as the whole day was perfect!"
